Company Background, History and Experience The O.G. Clothing Co. was founded in 2004. The company mastered various printing techniques onto garments and promotional items. There after the company learned how to understand and relay with offshore garment factories. After working with and travelling to worldwide factories, 6 years later the O.G. Training Academy  emerged. The Company also have their own International clothing label, UK T-shirt printing and Offshore Garment manufacturing services.

In recent years garment personalisation has become one of the fastest growing fashion / printing trends. Working with many fashion and design graduates and under graduates the company noticed a major gap in the commercial business knowledge that these students had. As a fashion manufactuirng and printing company we noticed that through out the years many young people were trying to launch their fashion labels off with little knowledege and failed. Therefore after a trial training course provided to a Westminster youth service which went extremely successful, the company launched their own training academy. We developed our own courses which revolve around Graphics Apparel and Print. We took it upon ourselves to train with hands on experience as opposed to 'parrot' fashion and this was only possible as we have a business background in fashion brands and services.

Description: O.G. Training Academy  is a unique one of a kind Training initiative. Unlike standard Graphic design courses it helps the student channel their graphic fashion design skills into a product or service. We provide a range of courses in T-shirt printing techniques, Fashion and Graphic design, Business marketing, Multimedia to Manufacturing Garments with off-shore factories.

Aim: This particular initiative was aimed and set up for all general students to graduates but our programme focuses on young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Youths who desperately need to or want to get a focus in life, by getting “off the streets” and into positive activities. Such youths tend to have a short attention span, therefore need to be involved in something that is not just fun, engaging but also something that leads to vocational qualifications.  Our teaching methods entail inspirational and motivational techniques and self development coaching, in order to help develop these individuals. 

Who will benefit: Adults and Students of all ages but in particular Youths who may have come from Long term unemployment, PRU's, Youth Offending Teams, NEET's (not in employment education or training).
